Project duration: 10 days.
Project Description:
Part 1. Produce 5 pictograms which would visually communicate both meaningfully and effectively each of 5 specific room locations in the RISD Design Center. In this case, Reception, Computer Lab, Lecture Hall, Typeshop and the Lighting Studio.
Part 2. Research and develop an effective and well thought out mock polarity profile, requiring research, photography, collecting data and visual inspiration, which transforms into the framework for the visual language.
Part 3. Based on architectural floor plans, design a map/floor plan for each of the floors which featured the specified room locations.
Part 4. Create a poster which communicates a complex message with the use of text and image.
Part 5. Create a frame-by-frame animation storyboard for the wayfinding system as an app.
